Question : DNS Setting to resolve sites on local server

I am hosting two web sites on a web server behind my firewall. When outsiders visit the sites, my firewall forwards port 80 to the web server and everything works fine. When a computer on the same subnet as the web server tries to resolve the domain name, it is being resolved to the public IP instead of the private IP of the web server. I am using DNS on my domain controller and the DC is on the same subnet as the web server. I know there is a way to set up the DNS so that it resolves internal requests to these two web sites to the private IP or FQDN of my web server, but I am not sure how to do this. Any and all help is appreciated.

You need to add a completely new zone for each domain that you wish to resolve locally.  Within the new zone you need to add an 'A' record for 'www' and point that at your local server's ip address.
