Question : Batch logon file not running
I've inherited a network run on Win2k3 small business server, clients on XP. I noticed that some users' network drives are mapped even though their profile path is blank and the logon script setting is set as login.bat If I set up a new user with a blank profile path and login.bat as their logon script the shares are not mapped. What should I be checking here to make sure that new users get the logon scripts working?
Also the login.bat script is found on the server on both C:\WINDOWS\SYSVOL\sysvol\domain\scripts and C:\WINDOWS\SYSVOL\sysvol\ourdomainname\scripts which one should it be in? Should it be in both? Only in the second example is the directory shared as "scripts".

In the users AD Account settings, are you just using login.bat or the full path? login.bat should work, but if something is screwy there I would use the full path to the script.
