Question : Acceptable characters for WPA key
We've been using a wireless encryption key (WPA) at my office for a long time and just recently bought a new access point to use. Upon entering this key we're getting an error that semicolons (;) are not allowed, but like I said we've been using this same key for a long time. So im not sure if this new access point is not correct or the key we've been using on the old hardware maybe isn't acceptable.
What are the acceptable characters for a WPA key?
Thanks
Answer : Acceptable characters for WPA key
(upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation)
Pretty certai I have used semicolons, although this could have been in the original WEP passphrases.
