Question : configure sendmail for SMTP-Auth
I am trying to configure my linux sendmail for SMTP-Auth so I can use this host as my Windows Outlook smtp server. I have had no luck so far. With my current configuraiton, Outlook gives me a "Please enter your username and password for the following server" message continuously until I cancel the dialog. I've repeatedly typed the correct use and PW.
On the Linux side, the maillog says:
Oct 16 16:18:08 webhost1 sm-mta[17551]: n9GKI8jZ017551: [a.b.c.d] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA
I need help. Thanks.
