Question : hyperterminal in solaris

How can I get console access to the cisco routers through solaris operating system?
Is there any equivalent to hyperterminal in Solaris?

Answer : hyperterminal in solaris

I think this page has some things that will help you:

http://www.stokely.com/unix.serial.port.resources/terminals.em.x.html

If you want to trade that old solaris in for linux (I hear Suns can run linux these days), you can use minicom for free.  Then again, you could compile it for solaris maybe.
