Question : Using Hostway for Small Office Server Functions

I have a friend who is opening his own one-man law office. He wants to set up his own email service, storage and maintain a basic website. He had thought about buying a small server and using MS Exchange Server but that proved cost prohibitive. He is now looking at Hostway because he has Optima online and they are apparently affiliated. Can anybody give me a brief pro and con of using Hostway for this purpose?
