Question : How do you configure VMware Win2K servers to talk to each other on an WinXP Host?

Prior to a virus wiping out my Windows XP laptop I had two VMware Windows 2000 servers running with Bridged Networks to the laptops NIC.

I now want to re-install VMware 4.5.2 and configure the two 'VMware' Win2K servers to talk to each other (internally on the laptop), something I was not able to do by reconfiguring the Bridged servers previously.  I suspect it is a Host-only configuration, but the official documentation falls way short of giving me all the answers.

Has anyone successfully done this before?  Any hints?

Use the NAT option (vmnet8 for me). This creates a subnet behind your network card for the VM machines.  If you don't want them to communicate to the outside (off the laptop) then manually set the machines ip addresses within the subnet but don't include a gatway address.
