Question : DSL router and ISA
|
|
Im having problems configuring my ISA server, behind my DSL router.
So before i get to involved in shouting at ISA i just thout i'd check out i'v got my DSL connection setup correctly
My ISP have given me the following addresses
Network IP: 81.*.*.96 Router/Gateway IP: 81.*.*.102 Broadcast IP: 81.*.*.103 Available IPs: 81.*.*.97 - 81.*.*.101 subnetmask: 255.255.255.248
And my DSL router wants to know thease:
WAN Static IP WAN Subnet Mask WAN Gateway
Just like to check which Address translates to which setting :)
Im assuming that I can use the NAT on the router to resolved the Static IPs iv been asigned by the ISP to machines (including ISA) on an internal address range, so effectivly a DMZ between the router and ISA?
My intention is to create a structure similer to the method documented here: http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/trihomedwirelessdmz.html
with the exception that ISA dosn't have an external interface, it will have to look out through the router.
