Question : Configure Cisco 678 to work with LinkSys WRT54G

I have DSL from Qwest coming into a cisco 678 modem. The modem is connected to a linksys broadband wireless (g) router (WRT54G). My pc is wired to the router using a NIC and TCP/IP. The pc os is WinXP Pro. My DSL address is STATIC. The LAN side of the WRT54G works fine, using DHCP, NAT etc....but cannot get access to WAN (internet) through the Cisco 678.  Have tried disableing the DHCP and NAT in the Cisco 678, but still no luck. Thanks.

Ok, I have the same setup so I think I can help you.  First of all, let me ask you this, if you take your linksys router out of the picture do you have internet access?

This is how it should be set up.  Continue to use NAT and if you would like, dhcp on both devices.  Lets go with this scenario.

Cicsco 678
   WAN -
IP: some internet address (eg. 66.181.233.2)
   LAN -
         ip: 10.0.0.1
         subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Linksys
     WAN -
          ip: 10.0.0.2
          Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
          Default Gateway: 10.0.0.1
     LAN
         ip: 192.168.0.1
         Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
         DNS: your ISP's DNS Server
         DNS2: your isp's dns server
