Question : Remote access connection from Win XP Prof with D-Link DSL-G624T router to win SBS 2003

I have a problem achieving remote access from my home based win xp system via a DSL-624T router to a Wins 2003 SBS which utilises a D-Link DSL-G604T router. XP VPN connects ok but I can't ping the remote router. Everything worked fine when I was using a DSL-G604T at home but this now been replaced as it had a hardware failure. Help please.
