Question : Force a Login prompt for Shared Folder

Hello Experts, I'm working with my shares on a workgroup network. All PC's are Win XP. One computer in the workgroup is sharing it's files with the other PC's. I'm tightening security and creating groups with share privileges on that central computer. I have noticed that if a client computer is prompted once by the shared computer and the login fails, I can't get the login prompt to appear again without restarting the client PC. How can I force a login prompt to appear after having been denied?
