I am looking to purchase a powerline adapter kit, but was wanting to know which brand or model gives the best throughput.

I recommend Linksys, also. But the newer PLE300 and PLS300 units claim speeds up to 200Mbps instead of the 85Mbps top speed of the PLE200 (PLK200 is a 'K'it consisting of two PLE200 units).

The PLK300 kit (http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/PLK300) contains one PLE300 and one PLS300... those are at the bottom of the first powerline page linked above, and newegg has that kit for $120 USD + free shipping.

Of course, if you can connect everything together with dedicated cat5e or cat6 cable, that will always be preferrable since that's capable of far-higher throughput now than powerline or wireless ever will be.
