Question : Configuring Cisco Wireless Access Point

I have a SBS2003 Network, I have just connected a cisco WAP4410N right out of the box.

In the instructions it said to configure it in the "Quick Set-up" it tells me to go to 192.168.1.245, when I do that I get the ie Page cannot be displayed message.

is there anyone who actually "got into" the Access Point to set-up the secure setting??

Thanks

Answer : Configuring Cisco Wireless Access Point

To access 192.168.1.245 (that device's default address), you need to be on the same network... it also works best to be connected directly to it.

e.g. set your local area connection to a static IP of 102.168.1.10 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0, then connect an ethernet cable from that NIC to the ethernet port on the AP and open 192.168.1.245 in your browser. When the login screen appears the default username and password are both "admin" (sans quotes).

If that still doesn't get you in, press and hold the reset button on the back for about 15 seconds, then try it again when the AP finishes booting up.
