Question : How to use Yahoo to consolidate all email accounts

I am a beginner so have very little knowledge of how to do things on the web. I have email accounts with AOL, Yahoo and others. I have a domain name through AT&T/Yahoo.  I would like to get all my emails through Yahoo but when I asked AOL and Yahoo how to get all my emails forwarded to Yahoo, both said it can't be done. Then a friend said I could go to my Yahoo account and set up AOL to come to my Yahoo account by putting AOLs POP info. on my account screen. I did this and got 2 copies of every new AOL email - not sure how that happened! Can anyone help me with step by step instructions so that all my AOL emails are forwarded to my Yahoo account? When I respond to the forwarded AOL emails I'd like them to have my AOL email address in the "From" field. The Yahoo emails would of course have the Yahoo address. Is all of this possible? Is there any reason I should not do this (too many bugs, too complex, not reliable)? Thanks for your help!

Answer : How to use Yahoo to consolidate all email accounts

You want to forward all you're AOL mail 2 yahoo mail. Easy!

1. All you need is an POP access email. You have Yahoo mail and I'm guessing you didn't pay for yahoo mail plus.

2. All you have to do is get a gmail. That has POP access. Then you can set it up so that you can check you're AOL mail with gmail.

3. Next, you make it so that all you're gmail emails forward to yahoo mail.

4.But with gmail (not with other any POP access emails), you can set up email forwarding so all you're gmail email's go to any other email accounts without it showing FWD (forward) when you automaticly forward it. But it will show FWD if you manuallly forward it.

5.When you respond to the forwarded AOL emails u'd like them to have ur AOL email address in the "From" field. I think it is not possible or I dont know
