I'm going to be deploying an Exchange 2000 server in a DMZ soon.  Should I install the server on the DMZ then install the OS and Exchange or install OS and Exchange on the LAN then move it to the DMZ?

I found it a lot easier to install the OS and Exchange on the LAN, configure it exactly how I wanted, and then move it over to a completely locked down DMZ and slowly open the right ports and test, test, test.  Are you using the new Exchange server as a front-end server, or as your primary e-mail server?
