Question : How to create a simple FTP server in a SBS 2003 network?

We are currently running a small network with our main server running Small Business Server 2003 R2 Premium Edition, with all the bells & whistles installed (ISA, SQL, etc).

We want to set up a second server on the network to host an FTP site so we can send and receive large files for our clients. We want this on a second server so it interferes with the SBS box as little as possible.

The second server is running Windows 2003 Server, with IIS6.0 installed.

I am having trouble understanding how to setup the FTP, particularly when it comes to configuring the firewall (ISA 2004 on the SBS 2003 box).

In the future we may want to expand this to host multiple FTP's for each of our clients.

Can someone point me in the right direction with straightforward, simple instructions on how to achieve this please?

Assuming you have two nics in the SBS box,
Make sure ports are open on the external firewall and being forwarded to the SBS external Ip address.
On the SBS box, open the ISA gui, run the publish a server wizard select the ftp server protocol, provide the internal IP address of the server that will be running the ftp service and select the external interface.
You will need additional IP addresses for each ftp server published and each will have its own publishing rule unless you want to vary port numbers which can become a bit convuluted.
