Question : Can not access Inter-Tel Session Manger through VPN
I have a customer that has an Axcess Phone Sytem from Inter-Tel and they want to be able to administer the system through the Session Manger software package. It works fin in the office but once they go home they can not log in to the system through the VPN
We have a Foortinet fiirewall with PPTP connections to tnhe office Network. All the Servers and other devices on the network are available but the Inter-Tel system is not reachable even through a ping.
Does anyone know if the session Manager can be used through a VPN?
Thanks
Jeff
Answer : Can not access Inter-Tel Session Manger through VPN
Yes it can, i do it all the time. I am assuming the PPTP VPN gives the user a local IP address? if not i would check the default gateway is programmed into the Inter-tel.
