Question : Internal IM Client

Hello Experts
I am planning on implementing a chat client in side our organization, so people can talk to each other and send files back and forward. We have all windows systems with windows 2003 servers controlling the domain.
Is there is any programs we can use to do this. The main concern for me is I do not want my uses to be able to add people from outside the organizations. And I want this is be used only internally.
