Question : How to setup DNS forwarding
I am looking to setup a DNS forwarding configuration with Microsoft Windows Server DNS. Here is what I need:
URL:
http://www.mydomain.com/My
Alias
FULL URL to Forward to:
http://www.mydomain.com/My
Alias/tabi
d/56/Defau
lt.aspx
So, all someone needs to do is enter in the URL and it will forward them to the FULL URL automatically.
I've already got a good handle on DNS admin and have the domain in hand and already config'd just need to setup this forwarder and never done it with DNS before. TIA!
Answer : How to setup DNS forwarding
Hey,
You can't do this in DNS. This must be done on the web server I'm afraid.
Which web server? IIS? And do you need a hand setting up that side?
