Question : cisco 3560 CLI command for an event log

Hello all,

I am used to working with HP switches where you can view an eventlog through the CLI.  Is there such an animal with a Cisco Catalyst 3560?  I have looked through the commands and really don't find one.  Thanks in advance.

Answer : cisco 3560 CLI command for an event log

You have to first enable logging to a buffer and then set the logging level, and then you can view the logs:

switch(config)#logg buff 4096 debug  <== sets 4k buffer and logging level for debug
switch(config)#exit
switch#show log

It really depends on what events you expect to see also...
