Question : Workgroup shares disconnect after reboot

I have a small workgroup of XP Professional PCs that have a few mapped network shares.  "Reconnect at logon" is checked.  After the PCs reboot; the drives are showing as disconnected.  (red X in explorer).  However, as soon as you click the drive they're reconnected.  Is there any easy way to solve this problem?

I even tried creating an old-school style .bat file and sticking that into the startup folder.
ie:
NET USE X: \\sanity\drivework /Persistent:yes

Same result.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Answer : Workgroup shares disconnect after reboot

Could be the result of the Idle Timeout period in operation...

If you would like to turn Autodisconnect off, do:  net config server /autodisconnect:-1.
