I am using opensuse 10.1.

I have recently made changes to my router, and now the machine won't connect to the lan.

How do I check what is wrong, and reenable the connection to the lan?

Have you checked the router's manual to configure it? Some routers don't have dhcp set by default, so you may have to temporarily give your PC a static IP to configure the router.
