Question : Suggestion for final year project's topic

Currently i'm majoring in Computer system and networking .
My programming skills is average.
The language used in the project cant be web-based such as asp,php etc..

Can someone please suggest a good topic for my final year project ?

Write a program that keeps a folder on many servers synchronized during non-peak network hours.

on server in seattle I have software install files on it.
on server in dallas I have software install files on it.
on server in denver I have software install files on it.

a new version of install files comes out, and I want to push the new sftware to the branch offices overnight(while lines are not used), but dont want to connect via laptop from home at 10:00pm to start the download...
