Question : Error - 3161 and Error- 9297  , problems with MTA

I am getting lots of problems with Echange MTA service. Even Log is showing Error-3161:Source: MSExchangeMTA
Type: Advise. An internal MTA error occurred. The logon violated security. Entity name: . Error code: 0. [XAPI MAIN BASE 27 92] (14)--- and--Error 9297:Source: MSExchangeMTA
Type: Advise The user /o=XXX/ou=XXXXXX/cn=Configuration/cn=Connections/cn=Internet Mail Connector (SERVER) has caused a security violation. Locality table (LTAB) index: 239. Windows NT error code: 0. [BASE IL MAIN BASE 27 237] (14).   Any help ?. Thanks.

Answer : Error - 3161 and Error- 9297  , problems with MTA

You did go to server manager --> ms Exchange MTA --> startup
and verify the correct account and password. If so My suggestion would be to try a reinstall of Exchange. Reinstallation of the current Service Pack may also help.
