Question : Problems with Novell Client and Windows Server 2008 TS

Hello Experts,

I have been having trouble with getting the Novell Client to work properly with a Windows Sever 2008 64-bit Terminal Server. Once I install the Novell Client on the machine I get really slow logins, it can take a half an hour at least to login into the server. I am not even logging into Novell at this point, just a AD domain admin user. While it is trying to login all I get is a blank blue background.

I have installed the latest Novell Vista/2008 Client and still have the same problem. From what I can tell gpscript.exe looks to be locking it up. Once I get that app kill off the login finishes.

Anyone else experiencing any issues with the latest Novell Client? I am not sure if it makes any difference that I am running Terminal Services on the box.

Thanks for any help.

gpscript.exe is the group policy script executable in Vista.  It *sounds like* you've got problems with your group policies on the Windows side, nothing to do with GPRESULT tool to see what policies are being applied and then you'll probably have to go through the policies to eliminate the problem.
See here (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/expert/gpresults.mspx) on how to use GPRESULT.

Hope this helps.
