Question : Map Drives Remotely

Is there a way to map drives on remote users machines without having to visit each pc.
Our 2000 active directory domain is mixed with NT 4, 2000, and xp machines.
Currently, when a user needs a map drive added to connect to a share, we have to log on to their machine under their name and map to the share manually.
We occasionally send the users a batch file via email to map a new drive, however our email server is setup to block .bat files and I'd rather not have to disable this each time a batch files is needing to be sent out.
Also, most PC's in the company are used by more than one user.  Each user has access to different shares.

Thanks.

The other way is to put the script on the NETLOGON directory and send an email with the UNC from where they can run it. Since NETLOGON share is accessible for every registered computer.
