Question : Scanner sharing

I am running a 4 computer peer-to-peer network on W98SE. One of the machines has the printer and the internet connection (56k right now soon to be cable again) using Microsoft ICS. I have a scanner on a second machine connected to the LPT port I would like to know if there is anyway to share the scanner with the first machine.

I have the exact same scanner at home for the kids. I bought it a few years ago (before I was in IS) and tried to do the exact same thing....and even contacted Mustek about it. I have it from them directly that you can't do it with that scanner.
