Question : Setting up DMZ through DSL504 Router

Can anyone help! I wish to setup FTP server.
My Router has dmz and nats enabled.
I am running DHCP.
Do i set my dmz IP (static) the smae as my lan ips.

eg dhcp range 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.33
dmz ip 192.168.0.99

If you want this server to be available to the internet, you will need to have a static public address on it or a one to one nat to a public address that will allow external connections.
