The network provider gives me instructions to create a dialup connection from WIN98 but it is not working rather Samsung company's own dialer is working automatically as I dial it with *99**1*1# number. how this is happening help me.
when i try to connect using dial up number *99# i get error 645 that means check configuration what that mean? Also if i change the phone no. to dial up no. given by samsung in dial up window it also not get connected?

Answer : Mobile not connecting throgh dialup

Yes you can run that AT command directly in Hyperterminal. I'd first try with other context values 2 and 3:
*99***2#
*99***3#
Dump the AT+CGDCONT? and see what comes out, and post it here.

Your Samsung wizard software works because it takes care of PPP authentication etc. for you. Hyperterminal does not do that. If you are trying to prototype in Hyperterminal you will find that it won't suit your needs due to the PPP issue. You could set up dial-up networking in your laptop for that connection - that question has already been answered here, check the PAQ.
