Question : active directory replication

Hi all
I run an active directory domain
The domain consisted of 4 DCs
ALPHA 2000server
BETA 2003 server
MAIL 2000 server plus exchange 2000
PROXY

We brought two new servers to replace alpha and proxy

I successfully moved fsmo roles from alpha to beta and demoted them both using dcpromo.exe

The two new servers are running server 2003 R2, I successfully joined them to the domain and promoted them to DCs with the names ALPHA and GATEWAY

However LOL

Alpha was promoted first and shows ALPHA, BETA AND MAIL in the DCs OU of  AD users and computers (does not show GATEWAY)

GATEWAY was promoted second and shows all DCs in the appropriate OU

Files in the share SYSVOL\DOMAINNAME\SCRIPTS replicate between the servers
New users in AD users and computers are not replicated

When I go into AD sites and services, default-fist-site-name, ALPHA, NTDS settings, right click and select replicate know I get the error

“the naming context is in the process of being moved or is not replicated from the specified server”

PLEASE HELP.
