Question : Webcam causes computer to freeze/crash

Hi guys,

I am currently operating on Windows 98 and using AOL 8.0+.  I have their DSL modem and have networked 2 computers together.  Everything works fine, except that when I go to use the webcam on Yahoo!, my computer freezes, the screen goes black and knocks me off line.  My computer then reboots itself.  Why is this happening?  Do I have something configured wrong?

D'oh!

Guess it helps to fully read the question...Win98...Go to your device mgr>and see if anything is highlighted with a problem. also go to start>programs>accessories>system tools>system information, and at teh top, sort out by forced hardware and IRQ's, and see if the webcam is conflicting with anything. It can share an IRQ, until it is turned on, which is when the sharing conflict happens.
