Question : I can not ping the printer, but the Dell is working, I can printer the network scan report

I have a Dell Laser Printer 5310n.  It is shared, and on a printer server (MS Windows 2003 Server).  I can print a network scan page from the printer.  I can't print a test page from the print server and I can't ping it.

If you can't ping it by IP address, then it is not connected to the network physically or the TCP/IP connectivity on the printer is not set up properly.  Is this a new printer that you're setting up, or is it a printer that was working and has now stopped working?
