Question : Free U.S. Incoming Number

Hello Experts,

I live in the UK and I have successfully got myself an incoming UK number (0870 - premium rate) for free which is currently peered to my FWD account that my customers use to call me.. I will peer it to Asterisk and use it as a normal phone for receiving calls.

Is a similar thing available for the U.S. where the caller pays slightly more than a local rate to finance the line so that the person renting (owning) the line does not pay for it?

I actually found a solution to this problem myself.
www.stanaphone.com gives free phone numbers which I can peer with my asterisk.
