Question : I need a list of udp/tcp ports to be allowed for windows file sharing to occur.
I am responsible for configuring a Cisco ASA 5510 firewall. We are adding a DMZ with a web server which needs access to a Windows File Server on the INSIDE interface.
To set up the Access Control List I need to specify which tcp/udp ports or other protocols (such as ICMP) to allow in communication between this web server on the DMZ and Windows File Server on the INSIDE.
Does anyone have a list of udp/tcp ports or protocols necessary for Windows File Server to work with a client?
The webserver will alsohave access to a domain controller for NT authentication and a DNS server on the INSIDE. So assume the webserver is on the same domain as the File Server and NT Authentication has occurred.
