Question : Which files do I need to alter when moving a Application Server 10g to a new host?
I am in the midst of cloning a Application Server Installation to a new machine on the same box for Replication purposes. So far I have changed a number of files to reflect the details of the new installation. The httpd.conf, dads.conf, tnsnames.ora, listener.ora and sqlnet.ora.
The Database in assoication to the Apps Server has successfully been started with the new details of the database. I have attempted to do the same for the Apps server components, firstly starting with the opmnctl command. It doesn't seem to be getting past this point and am having difficulty working out which other files require changes, i.e *.xml files with entries pertaining to the new host name.
Can anyone lend me their advice?
Look forward to hearing from you all and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask

A change of hostname on OracleAS 10g is completely unsupported by Oracle.
Are you trying to move the Infrastructure or the Middle Tier or both ?
