Question : VPN Troubleshooting

Hi All
I am trying to test the VPN from home to work (No, not the otherway around), this is because I am testing it, Ive not set this up before so I thought this be be best before somethign goes wrong at work :)
Anyway, I am using win 2k Server, a 3Com firewall with VPN where I have enabled VPN, some other common ports, I have also setup RAS acording to a tutorial I found on the net (http://techrepublic.com.com/) which is really good. I am also using sygates firewall (software firewall) but this has been set to allow allo packets during this testing phase.
I can conncet to my ip from work, because I have setup a quick webpage and hooked it up with IIS which I can see from work
However back to the VPN, I get the following error in the 3COM Log
Notification INVALID_COOKIE received from peer
Any ideas?
