Question : receiving email through SBS 2003 and also a cell phone

In our Exchange SBS Server 2003, we receive emails directly to the server, and use SMTP to send out mails.

One user also wants to get his email ([email protected]) on his cell phone, using the ISP's pop3 and SMTP, using his login and password on cell phone, and one another email id with ISP's domain name that is just set up by ISP ([email protected] - this won't go through SBS 2003) on his second cell phone.

Will there be any issues with this, as the server does not use POP3 and the phone potentially will use POP3 for the first email account scenario.

I assumed the second situation will not be any issue.

From the server, he gets his email in Outlook 2003.

Thanks

I use my iphone to download exchange mail and POP3 mail.
You can set the iphone to sync with your exchange server, you will need to install the self signed certificate that is in by defualt with SBS2003.

You will need to download a copy of the iphone enterprise configuration utility from here: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/enterprise/
Which you can then use to install your self signed certificate
