Question : monitor cable modem

how can i monitor our cable modem, we have 2 connections here a T1 and a cable modem, the cable modem is for mostly internet access and the T1 is for internal, vpn connections. I need a way to monitor this connection from the inside?

Answer : monitor cable modem

If it support SNMP and most modems do. You can use application like PRTG to do a basic monitoring on that modem
