Question : DNS replication scope could not be set
Ok I have a windows 2003 AD with 3 child domains. In one of my child domains I have dns configure wrong where the main dns scope(the one that is our domain name) is set to all domain controllers in the active directory domain. This is set on the 5 dc's in the child domain. I am planning on following the solution in one of the other cases on the site(21886411). This basically just tells you to delete the scope, wait for replication, and then add it back. I just want to make sure that me deleting this, by no means will propogate up to the forest level. I am assuming that it will saty just within this child domain, because that is how it is configured to begin with. Please advise.
Answer : DNS replication scope could not be set
Nope, you wouldn't want to re-add the zone. It should replicate without needing any manual additions as the zone you've got already replicates to the Forest.
