Question : IBM Websphere database pool

If I ahve websphere applciaitons connected to ORacle using connection pool in IBM Websphere 5.1. I then upgrade the database and add some tables. Do I need to create a new connection pool? I restrated teh server but changes did not take effect.

Since the connection no longer works, I would try to define a new connection.
