Question : Internet configuration on win 2003 server
I have just performed a clean install of win 2003 server promoted to dc and configured dns. i am unable to access the internet from the server or the clients. I have tried with and without forwarding to my isp's dns address with no success either way. firewall is off, no third party software installed. internet connection wizard run, automatically detect settings checked, cannot ping any outside urls. please advise.

Make sure that your routers IP address is in the tcp/ip settings under gateway this will provide your server with a route for anything outside the local network.
You will also need the forwarders in your DNS for names resolutions.
