Question : Dial up connection ..Ping says 'Destination net unreachable'... Web page does not open with IE.

I have two internet service providers A and B(say) which i use to dial up connection to the internet .

A works fine .. I am able to dial up ... view the web pages with IE 5.5. I can also ping to the web sites .

With B I am facing a problem. I am able to dial up nice and fine but the web page does not open . Also when i ping to the websites it says 'destination net unreachable' though it is able to identify the ip of the website to start with. Like when i say ping www.google.com this is what i get :-

Also ipconfig shows an ip for my machine .
Please help me solve the above problem . Note :- One dial up service is fine but the other one is giving problems .

I am using a laptop with Windows 2000 Pro .

hi vikram,

how about delete that connection and try to set it up again.  If it's not working, still recommend you to ring your internet providers.  :)
