Question : Can you create LAG groups accross Stacked Switches?
Hi Everyone,
was planning to implement a new network segment using 2 Dell Power connect 6200 Switches in a stacked configuration so that they operate as a single switch. I am planning to use LACP to provide aggregated bandwidth and redundancy.
Am I correct in assuming that I can create a LAG group and include ports from both of the switches as they are stacked to behave as a single switch?
Any assistance in helping me clarify this issue will be most appreciated.
Answer : Can you create LAG groups accross Stacked Switches?
Yes this is correct.
You setup a VLAN between the ports and this can be done accross both the switches.
