Question : Use Dell PowerVault 770N as a Domain Controller
|
|
I have a customer who has acquired a Dell PowerVault 770n and would like to use it as their only Windows 2003 Standard Server Domain Controller in a small office with 6 clients on the network. They will also have an additional office with two clients who will use a VPN to connect to the server. Has anyone tried this before? I have just received the unit and am just beginning the testing.
Thanks in advance

Answer : Use Dell PowerVault 770N as a Domain Controller

Windows Storage Server, which I assume it is running, CANNOT act as a domain controller. He will need a true server. I would suggest using Small Business Server 2003.
