Question : Exmerge log files issue
I have exmerge as well as exchange server installed in the same drive(c:). In the same machine I have a D: drive.
I keep getting on the D: drive some log files such as:
exmerge(thread0).log
exmerge(thread1).log
exmerge(thread2).log
exmerge(thread3).log
exmerge.log
I checked on exchange system manager --> servers--> first storage group and select properties. and thethe transaction logs are kept in c:\something....
But not in D:
So I am wondering where do those log files in D: drive, come from. and the D: drive gets low in space.
As for Exmerge it's copying the mailboxes to a different machine.
Any idea, thanks
Answer : Exmerge log files issue
Chuck,
In the directory that you installed Exmerge.exe to, you should find a file called Exmerge.ini
Open Exmerge.ini and check to see if the path the to log file location has been hard coded d:\xxxxx.
You can change the path to the log file location within this file.
Hope this helps.
