Question : Microsoft Word opens and closes slowly

We have Microsoft Office 2003 Standard Edition installed on all of our workstations. For some unknown reason when Microsoft Word is opened or closed it will do so slowly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003 on this workstation ans still it will open and close slowly. Excel will open and close quickly but Word will not.

Any ideas as to why this is happening only with Microsoft Word and not other Office products?
