Question : Kixtart and OS identification

I currently use a Kixtart login script to log various details of any machine that logs on to my domain. Part of this script identifies the OS of that machine and what if any service packs are applied. However it is a little old and can not handle the newer Windows os's. Has anyone got an up to date one that covers all flavours of Windows?
