Question : Wireless with the XBOX 360 is very poor

I have recently purchased an XBOX 360 and one of their wireless adapters.. When I connect to my Belkin router (wireless) everything is fine apart from the games on my XBOX keep jumping when I play online. So when I play a soccer game the game stutters every 20 seconds. I have pointed the ariels on my router horiztonally, made sure there is a clear path from the router to the xbox and also changed my wireless channel. This is the same on all games I play online.

Does anyone have any ideas?

The lower the encryption the faster the signal will work

Make sure your wireless router our your XBOX is not near an excessive amount of other wireless devices, outlet plugs, circuit breaker, microwave anything that can/will distort your signal. 2.4Ghz is for most wireless devices and phoens 5Ghz causes less disturbance as fewer devices are using this frequency.

If possible place the wireless router in a semi-elevated position (not on the floor) to get a better broadcast radius.

Make sure there arent any other unwanted users on your wireless or excessive file transferring going on.

Update your firmware on your wireless router.
