Question : IP PBX with cisco router
We would like to create an IP PBX with a 1861 cisco router. we only have 2 users as for now and are going to have a maximum of 5 users.
I wanted to know, what connection is best to terminate on the router I only know about PRI line from PSTN coming on VWIC(E1) port. But, wont that give me 30 channels and I dont need that many?????
My senior was talking about taking calling minutes from a provider, could somebody please tell me how do you implement a setup wherein we take calling minutes from a provider.
We are going to user analog phones.
Also can IVR feature be implemented when using Cisco Router as your PBX solution
Answer : IP PBX with cisco router
Hi, why don't you buy BRI cards???, it is cheaper, tha PRI, and 4 calls will be enough for you!
