Question : NLB/NIC Teaming/DNS Round Robin

I would like to know when should I use one of the following methods:
NLB/NIC Teaming/DNS Round Robin

It sounds to me that they do the same thing.
Thanks

Answer : NLB/NIC Teaming/DNS Round Robin

Yes, that's somehow what it amounts to, only that you won't use the TCP/IP properties to define clustered IP, but the NLB Management Console (during and after the creation of the NLB cluster).
In short:
- NIC teamig load balances NICs, with failover (different physical NICs behind a single virtual NIC as seen from the OS)
- NLB load balances network traffic between servers, with failover (different servers behind a single IP address as seen by the network clients)
- DNS round robin "load balances" IP addresses, without failover (different IP addresses behind a single FQDN as seen by the network clients)
